Santa Maria's Sanctuary

Encircling Santa Maria di Torrecchia, the garden stretches wide, a new chapter in the estate’s story. Cercis Canadensis scatters its heart-shaped leaves, delicate blooms tracing the path toward the lake beyond the castle walls. Cornus Kousa’s ivory stars shimmer in quiet reverence, while Rosa Odorata climbs, its fragrance weaving through the air.

Magnolia Elizabeth stands proud, its pale yellow blossoms catching fleeting sunlight. Hydrangeas bloom in soft whispers of pink and blue, their heads heavy with summer’s promise. White anemones rise like fleeting ghosts, scattered among the greenery.

A living pulse flows through this space—wild yet intentional. The stream murmurs to the ruins, its waters alive with fish darting beneath the surface. Here, nature and history intertwine, each opening in the walls framing Torrecchia’s vast domain like a painting. It is a garden of transitions, where every bloom and ripple speaks of renewal and timeless beauty.
